Detectives continued this afternoon to piece together the details in fatal Sunday morning shootings in Everett and Lynnwood.
Everett police today continued to interview witnesses, hoping to shed light on the shooting death of man whose body was found early Sunday in the parking garage shared by the Broadway Plaza apartments for seniors and the Everett Senior Center.
The man, who was in his 70s, was shot multiple times. His identity hasn’t been released.
Detectives were talking to another man in connection with the case, but that man is not a suspect, Sgt. Robert Goetz said. The man who died didn’t live at the Broadway Plaza. It’s unknown why he was in the garage at the time of the shooting, Goetz said.
Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives said they had no suspects in the shooting death of a Seattle man outside a Lynnwood-area apartment in the 15900 block of 44th Ave. W.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said the man who died, 22, likely knew people who live at the complex. There’s no evidence the killing was tied to drugs or gangs, Hover said.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office is expected to conduct autopsies on both men.
