VANCOUVER, Wash. — Vancouver police say a three-month investigation at the city’s Maplewood neighborhood resulted in the arrest of 19 people.
The Columbian reported that police made the arrests on Thursday and Friday. They came after in an investigation into possible drug trafficking, drug use, prostitution and stolen property activities.
Police focused on an eight-unit apartment complex and adjoining home. They say their investigation revealed a constant stream of drug sales, gang activity and prostitution in that neighborhood.
They served search warrants for five of the eight apartments and the house and arrested 19 people.
