ARLINGTON — A small jet’s rough landing Tuesday evening closed the airport’s main north-south runway.
Federal investigators were expected today to determine what caused a small plane just before 6 p.m. to land hard at the Arlington Municipal Airport, Arlington spokeswoman Kristin Banfield said. No one got hurt.
Two people were on board the Dornier Alpha Jet, a two-engine German jet strike aircraft.
Arlington fire crews were cleaning up a minor fuel leak, Banfield said. It wasn’t clear Tuesday night what caused the rough landing,
