Providence General Foundation recently gave its Budd Gould Award to Phil and Kelly Johnson. The award honors those who have had “an extraordinary impact” on Providence Regional Medical Centers and the community.
“Programs that support cancer patients in need are near and dear to Phil and Kelly’s hearts,” said Lori Kloes, chief development officer at Providence. “So much so, that they stepped up with the lead gift when the Cancer Partnership was constructed in 2007. Their support has impacted so many patients.”
The award was presented at the Foundation’s annual Epicurean Affair fundraiser, held March 14 in Everett and sponsored in part by Anthony’s HomePort restaurant and Performance Home Medical. The event raised $188,000.
