GRANITE FALLS — Drivers who rely on Jordan Road near Granite Falls will need to take a detour or find another way around Thursday.
Snohomish County Public Works is scheduled to close the road north of the city for the day as crews set a culvert. Emergency vehicles and school buses won’t have access during the closure expected to last one day.
About 13 miles will be closed between Arlington and Granite Falls.
A detour of about 11 miles puts vehicles onto Burn Road, parallel to Jordan Road.
Drivers also should expect daily lane closures before and after Thursday. Detours won’t be required during the lane closures, but expect delays.
