VANCOUVER, Wash. — A jury has convicted a Vancouver, Wash., man of attempted murder, kidnapping and robbery in a November 2012 attack on a Beaverton, Ore., man.
The Columbian reported Wednesday that Clark County jurors returned the verdict against 20-year-old Pedro Godinez Jr.
Freddie Landstrom was abducted, robbed and repeatedly shot near Vancouver Lake Park.
Sentencing for Godinez is scheduled March 26 in Superior Court.
A 23-year-old Vancouver woman was sentenced last summer to more than three years in prison for her role. Her lawyer said her boyfriend, Godinez, forced her to participate by inviting the victim to her apartment.
