KENNEWICK — Police said a Kennewick bakery employee who reported she had been robbed is actually the thief.
The employee of a Cinnabon store said a man with a gun assaulted her in a hallway Friday, tied her hands with zip ties and took off with her bank deposit bag.
KNDO reported investigators determined the employee took the money herself and made up the story about the robbery.
