KENNEWICK — Kennewick police used a Taser on a 16-year-old Pasco boy who resisted arrest after a chase on foot.
The incident started at 3:20 a.m. on Sunday when a gasoline station reported a teen driving an older model Cadillac hit a trash can and gas pump.
Police say they spotted the car, but the driver did not pull over before pulling into an alley and jumping from the car. An officer followed and caught the teen, using his Taser when the boy resisted arrest.
He was booked into juvenile detention on suspicion of eluding, resisting arrest, driving under the influence, false reporting, hit and run, probation violation and outstanding felony warrants.
