The Snohomish County Family Volunteer Team of Kids Care Clubs plans to host a fun exercise and nutrition event for children from 11 a.m. to noon March 15 at the Everett Boys &Girls Club, 2316 12th St. in Everett.
The free event includes soccer drills, a jump rope clinic and information on healthy eating choices. The first 50 children who participate will receive a free sports bag with a soccer ball, jump rope, water bottle and other goodies. For more information, call 425-259-5147.
The event is funded by a grant from Kids Care Clubs and the United Way of Snohomish County.
