Kids don ‘carpet skates’ to Imagine playing the Silvertips

Keigan Stevens, a 4-year-old from Marysville, talks to Everett Silvertips Zack Dailey (right) and Kellan Tochkin during a carpet hockey game at the Imagine Children’s Museum on Tuesday morning in Everett. Keigan temporarily broke away from the mob of kids sliding over the carpet on “carpet skates” to talk with the Silvertips players. Kids like Keigan and his brother Keiran, 6, (not pictured) were invited to push an oversized hockey puck around a carpeted floor toward miniature goals on each side of the room.
