SEATTLE — U.S. Sen. Patty Murray says the federal government is giving more than $3.6 million to the Workforce Development Council of Settle-King County to train people for energy technology jobs.
The Washington Democrat said Wednesday that the Department of Labor grant, part of the federal stimulus package, will be used to train 450 students at South Seattle Community College to work in green jobs.
