LACEY — Lacey police have arrested a 48-year-old handyman suspected of having sexual relations with a 14-year-old girl and taping his encounters with her and other juveniles.
William Fischer, 48, is in custody at the Thurston County Jail on suspicion of four counts of third-degree child rape and 10 counts of communication with a minor for immoral purposes.
The investigation reportedly turned up child pornography at Fischer’s residence that he is thought to have taped. Police seized a videocamera, computers and videos from his home.
Police seized Fischer’s van, which had a futon in the back. Police say Fischer drove with his victims in the van between Lacey and Seattle.
Police say a 14-year-old girl’s mother discovered an e-mail to her daughter from Fischer and she contacted police.
Police say they believe there may be five or more victims involved, saying at least one is a juvenile boy.
