LAKE STEVENS – A three-car collision that has closed Highway 204 at 10th Street and sent one victim to Harborview Medical Center is currently causing hour-long delays on U.S. 2.
According to a Washington State Patrol spokesman, the accident occurred at 5:15 p.m. when a car traveling erratically on westbound 204 made a U-turn in traffic. The car was then hit by a van and the driver of the car was then thrown from the vehicle.
The driver of the car was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The condition of the driver is not currently available.
The driver of the van sustained non life-threatening injuries. The third vehicle involved in the accident sustained only minor damage and the driver was uninjured.
