LAKE STEVENS — A man robbed a branch of Cascade Bank in Lake Stevens Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The robbery happened at about 12:40 p.m. at the bank, 8915 Market Place, Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman Jan Jorgensen said.
The bank reported that the man gave an employee a note, demanded money and implied he had a gun, Jorgensen said. The man escaped with an undisclosed amount of money, she said.
He was described as white, in his early 40s, with glasses, gray hair, a scruffy beard, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and with a medium build, she said. He was wearing a wool hat, black jacket and blue jeans.
Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call authorities.
