Age: 31
Occupation: Tool design engineer
Political experience: Washington State Elections Administration and Certification Board, Major Party Status Committee Chairman Libertarian Party, Political Outreach Booths, voter drive.
Personal experience: Everyone has a daily experience with our government. Whether it is traffic, taxes, laws and codes or just watching the news.
Top 3 issues: 1. Individual rights: Sometimes we forget to ask if these ideas will trample on anyone’s freedom. 2. Accountability: The city council must take a more proactive approach. Apathy is not a vote to go ahead with new plans. 3. Property rights: We are getting too far away from this concept. If some other entity controls your property, do you own it?
Why voters should pick me: I am an individual who is not afraid to defend individual rights. I feel that the people know what is best for them and therefore believe in personal responsibility. The city council is not there to baby-sit us; it is there to protect our freedom and individual rights.
