LAKE STEVENS – A school bus crashed into a tree on Wednesday after the bus driver experienced a medical problem, sheriff’s deputies said.
Seven students were riding the Lake Stevens School District bus when it went off the road and crashed, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Jan Jorgensen said. One had a spit lip, she said. The driver, who apparently suffered a seizure, was taken to the hospital, Jorgensen said. Information about her condition was not available.
The crash happened about 4:30 p.m. in the 10800 block of 20th Street SE.
