PORT ORCHARD — Sheriff’s officials in Kitsap and Jefferson counties believe they have arrested the people responsible for a string of burglaries.
The break in the case came when a deputy discovered that a Port Hadlock man had worked as a landscaper at two of the burgled homes and was selling guns.
Deputies arrested the 29-year-old man and his 23-year-old brother Wednesday at their home in Port Hadlock. A search of the home turned up more than 60 guns and about 100 other stolen items of electronics and jewelry.
Jason and Robert Lucas are jailed in Kitsap County for investigation of possessing stolen property.
