FREELAND – A young woman was hurt Monday night after her car ended up in a ditch.
The Langley woman, 21, was southbound on Highway 525 when her 1992 Toyota 4 Runner left the road, according to a Washington State Patrol press release. The Toyota went into a ditch and landed on the driver’s side.
Medics drove the woman to a local hospital. Her condition was not immediately known.
The crash occurred 4 miles north of Freeland about 9 p.m.
Investigators believe drugs or alcohol may have been a factor, the patrol reported.
