SEATAC — A Sea-Tac airport spokesman says police were unable to find whoever was aiming a laser Sunday at planes on their landing approach.
Spokesman Perry Cooper says police went to a neighborhood north of the airport but were unable to find the light.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesman Mike Fergus says the person responsible could be charged with interfering with the duties of an air crew.
Crews of 12 planes landing between 7 and 7:30 p.m. Sunday reported being flashed with the green laser light when they were at an altitude of 1,200 to 1,500 feet.
Perry says none of the planes had trouble landing.
