SEATTLE — Forecasters said Monday’s rain is the last of a series of storms that have been pouring into the Northwest since the middle of last week.
The National Weather Service says Tuesday and Wednesday should be mostly dry in Washington. A chance of light showers returns by the end of the week, but the weekend should be drier.
The break from heavy rain will give rain-swollen rivers time to recede. But the Weather Service says the risk of landslides on soggy hills and bluffs will continue for days.
