The League of Women Voters of Snohomish County will be co-sponsoring and moderating several candidate forums in October.
The first will be 7 p.m. Oct. 8 at Olympic View Middle School, 2509 Mukilteo Speedway in Mukilteo. The eight Mukilteo City Council candidates have been invited.
Running for Position 4 are Eileen Hinds and Tony Tinsley; Position 5: Julie Irwin and Bruce Richter; Position 6: Bruce Brown and Donna Lansberry; Position 7: Dan Gray and Jennifer Gregerson.
The Marysville City Council and school board candidates will participate in a forum at 7 p.m. Oct. 14 at Marysville-Pilchuck High School, 5611 108th St. NE.
The third forum is 7 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Granite Falls Community Center. It will feature the Granite Falls mayor and council candidates.
