MOUNTLAKE TERRACE — With an excessive heat warning in effect until Friday, the library is a good place to cool off, city officials said Tuesday.
The library is open 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 1-5 p.m. Sundays. It’s located at 23300 58th Ave. W.
Marysville’s cooling stations are at the library, located at 6120 Grove St., during regular business hours and Marysville Fire District Station 62, 10701 Shoultes Road, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. through Friday.
People are encouraged to take precautions in the heat and check on relatives and neighbors. Never leave children or pets in a vehicle, even with the windows rolled down.
