EVERETT – An Everett man died Sunday night after his motorcycle veered off the road and crashed into a curb.
The man, 22, reportedly failed to negotiate a curve in the 7500 block of Hardeson Road, Everett police Sgt. Boyd Bryant said.
He was identified as Aaron J. Zarate, the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office reported Monday.
His motorcycle hit a curb and Zarate was thrown from vehicle. He struck a traffic signal box and died at the scene, Bryant said.
A man was stabbed Sunday after he reportedly refused to give money to his son’s ex-girlfriend, police said Monday.
The ex-girlfriend, 41, and a man, 40, were arrested in connection with the stabbing. They were booked Monday into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree assault and robbery.
The pair reportedly came to the victim’s house in the 20900 block of 54th Avenue W, where the woman demanded the resident give her $400 he owed her, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.
When the man refused, the second suspect grabbed the man’s glasses off his face. When the victim, attempted to retrieve the glasses, the suspect stabbed him in the abdomen, Sessions said.
The suspect drove off before police arrived.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he was in serious condition.
