BOTHELL – A man wanted in connection with a shooting at a south Snohomish County gravel pit was booked into jail Friday.
Clint C. Fisher, 35, was charged Thursday with first-degree assault with a firearm.
Prosecutors say Fisher shot someone who asked him to leave the gravel pit, where he’d been riding his motorcycle. Fisher has suspected ties to an outlaw motorcycle group.
The Bothell Police Department didn’t return calls Friday. The details of Fisher’s arrest were unavailable.
Whidbey Island: Sheriff checks leads in burglary
Island County sheriff’s deputies are asking for the public’s help to locate stolen property that is believed to have been taken in a rash of burglaries on south Whidbey Island in the past six months.
Police are developing leads on the burglaries with the help of a man arrested Thursday in connection with a burglary and identification theft.
The thefts happened at houses and construction sites. Small electronics, Dewalt-brand tools and a 9.9-hp Yamaha outboard motor were reported stolen.
Detectives believe many of the stolen goods are still in the area. Anyone with information about the break-ins or the stolen property is asked to call the sheriff’s tip line at 360-321-5111, ext. 7319.
Lynnwood: Motorcycle crash witnesses sought
Snohomish County sheriff’s detectives want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed a fatal motorcycle crash that killed two people Aug. 4.
Kellee Gregory, 26, and Shane Martinez, 24, both of Seattle, died after the motorcycle they were riding ran off the road and crashed into a fire hydrant in the 13600 block of Manor Way.
A resident found their bodies in his yard about 6 a.m. The crash likely happened a few hours before they were found.
