MOUNTLAKE TERRACE – A Seattle man apparently was upset when he was kicked out of a poker tournament at the Crazy Moose Casino.
Prosecutors Friday said Andrew L. Colby, 28, was so angry that he placed a threatening phone call to the gambling establishment. Colby was charged Friday with felony bomb threat in Snohomish County Superior Court.
Deputy prosecutor Travis Johnson alleged that Colby was asked to leave the casino early Dec. 2 because he was being argumentative.
Later that day, a casino security employee received a call from a man saying, “I put a bomb in your place of business,” Johnson said.
Security personnel traced the number to Colby’s cell phone, court paper said.
Lynnwood: Police investigate child luring
Snohomish County deputies are investigating a possible child-luring incident in the 15500 block of 18th Avenue W. in Lynnwood Thursday.
Two girls told deputies they were walking home about 4:45 p.m. when they noticed a man in a blue or gray four-door sedan following them, sheriff’s deputy Rich Niebusch said Friday.
The girls told deputies the man drove by them several times. With each pass, the girls became more frightened and eventually ran home and told their parents, Niebusch said.
The man was described as white, about 60 years old, with thin gray hair, wearing a green sweat shirt and gold-rimmed glasses.
