Stanwood: Stolen truck discovered in river
A stolen pickup truck was pulled out of the Stillaguamish River on Wednesday. A woman, crossing the river on Marine Drive, noticed the truck floating in the water, said Snohomish County sheriff’s Sgt. John Flood.
The woman drove to a nearby boat launch, where she saw a small vehicle speed away.
Two divers located the sunken Toyota pickup. The truck had been stolen in Everett early Wednesday, said Flood, the leader of the sheriff’s dive team. No one has been arrested in connection with the theft.
