LYNNWOOD — Snohomish County sheriff’s deputies are looking for the man who robbed a Lynnwood-area drugstore Monday morning.
Just before 9:30 a.m., a man walked into the Walgreens in the 16400 block of Larch Way, went to the pharmacy and pulled out a handgun, sheriff’s spokeswoman Rebecca Hover said.
He left with an undisclosed amount of oxyocodone pills, a prescription narcotic painkiller. No one was injured, Hover said.
Deputies used a police dog to search the area, but the suspect was not found, she said.
The man is described as white and wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
Anyone with information is asked to call the sheriff’s tip line at 425-388-3845.
Mountlake Terrace: Robbery suspects in custody
Police arrested a man and a woman from Mountlake Terrace suspected of robbing a convenience store Friday night, police said.
The man allegedly went into the store in the 22800 block of Cedar Way S. and ran off with cigarettes and beer, Mountlake Terrace police Sgt. Doug Hansen said.
The store’s clerk ran after the man but backed off when the man allegedly showed the clerk that he had a gun, Hansen said.
The clerk was able to get the license plate from the getaway car and called police.
Mountlake Terrace officers located the car at the intersection of 70th Avenue W. and 224th Street SW and arrested a man, 44, and a woman, 22, Hansen said.
Both were booked into the county jail for investigation of first-degree robbery. The cigarettes were recovered.
