MARYSVILLE – A lockdown at Marysville-Pilchuck High School was lifted at 12:50 p.m. today. The school was placed on lockdown at 12:25 p.m. after administrators learned of a rumor that a former student was planning to enter the school with a weapon.
Police searched the campus and did not find the former student, but later found the student off-campus, said Gail Miller, assistant superintendent of the Marysville School District.
No one was injured at the school and students are not in any danger, she said.
