A Democratic state lawmaker who was appointed to her position narrowly led over a Seattle police officer who is running as a Republican for the 44th district in south Snohomish County.
Rep. Liz Loomis, the owner of a public relations firm and former Snohomish mayor, received 53 percent of the vote over Mike Hope, who had received 47 percent.

- In the 39th District Position 1 House race, Republican incumbent state Rep. Dan Kristiansen leads his two-time opponent Democrat Scott Olson, 52 percent to 48 percent.
- In the 39th District House Position 2 race, Republican incumbent state Rep. Kirk Pearson leads his Democratic opponent David Personius, 59 percent to 41 percent.
- In the 32nd District House Position 1 race, Democratic incumbent state Rep. Maralyn Chase leads her Republican opponent Alex Rion, 68 to 32 percent.
- In the 21st District House Position 1 race, Democratic incumbent state Rep. Mary Helen Roberts leads her Republican challenger Brian Travis 68 percent to 32 percent.
- In the 21st Position 2 race, Democratic incumbent state Rep. Marko Liias leads Republican challenger Andrew Funk, 66 percent to 34 percent.
- In the 10th District House Position 1 race, Democratic challenger Tim Knue is leading incumbent state Rep. Norma Smith, 52 percent to 48 percent.
- In the 10th District House Position 2 race, Republican incumbent state Rep. Barbara Bailey leads Democratic challenger Patricia Terry, 53 percent to 47 percent.
