LYNNWOOD – A 14-year-old Lynnwood girl who was feared missing called her mom today and said she is safe and OK, police said.
Lynnwood Police believed Ricki Sterzick may have been in danger, spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.
Until today, the girl’s family hadn’t heard from her since Jan. 8. The girl’s mother told police Ricki had run away in the past and has been known to be involved in high-risk activities, Sessions said.
Ricki told her mother today that she has no plans to return home, Sessions said.
An arrest warrant has been issued for the girl, alleging failure to comply with probation conditions.
