LYNNWOOD — Police swarmed a Lynnwood neighborhood early Tuesday morning looking for a burglary suspect.
No one was caught, Lynnwood police spokeswoman Shannon Sessions said.
Someone called 911 about 1 a.m. after returning home to the 18100 block of 36th Avenue W. The person had heard a noise and reported seeing two people leaving out the back of the house, Sessions said. A window in the home was broken.
Police cordoned off the area and used a dog to try to find the suspects.
“The burglar wasn’t caught during that search,” Sessions said.
The police search woke up several people in the neighborhood, she said.
She said when people are at home and see police working, they should stay inside with the doors locked. Venturing outside may interfere with officers.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to call Lynnwood police at 425-744-6900.
