MONROE — A Marysville man allegedly smashed a woman’s car windows with a television, threatened her with a gun and was caught by a police dog Sunday.
Around 11:30 a.m., Monroe police responded to a call of an assault in the 600 block of Roberts Street. A woman’s ex-boyfriend allegedly broke her car windows with a television and told her that he would “kill a cop” and that he would have police kill him before he went to jail.
The man, 53, was arrested for investigation of domestic assault after fleeing and hiding from police.
An Everett Police dog found him in a blackberry bramble in the 200 block of Sky River Parkway and apparently injured him. The Monroe Police Department said the man was treated there for minor wounds from the police dog before being evaluated at EvergreenHealth Monroe and later taken to Snohomish County Jail in Everett.
