CENTRALIA — Centralia police say an 18-year-old man has been arrested after he accidentally shot his girlfriend.
KOMO-TV reported a pistol was in the man’s pocket when it went off Sunday night, injuring his 21-year-old girlfriend.
The woman was reportedly taken to a hospital and treated for non-life threatening wound.
Investigators say they later learned the man was a convicted felon and not allowed to have a gun. He’s been booked into the Lewis County Jail for investigation of unlawful possession of a firearm and outstanding warrants.
