Man arrested after stabbing in Lake Stevens

LAKE STEVENS — A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of first-degree assault with a weapon after a stabbing was reported Monday at a Lake Stevens apartment complex.

The arrest was made after a confrontation between the suspect and a 32-year-old man in the 600 block of 97th Drive NE

, according to a probable-cause affidavit filed by police.

The man who was stabbed was taken by aid car to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett where he was treated for wounds that were not believed to be life-threatening.

Police seized a pocket knife believed to have been used in the fight.
