MUKILTEO — Police on Thursday arrested an Edmonds man in connection with a December OxyContin robbery at a Mukilteo pharmacy.
The man, 21, was picked up while police served a search warrant at his home, according to a police affidavit.
Police allege the man walked up just after 3 p.m. on Dec. 22 to the counter at the Walgreen’s pharmacy in the 10200 block of the Mukilteo Speedway. He carried what appeared to be a large, silver-colored semi-automatic handgun and demanded the prescription narcotic, the police report said. Police later learned the gun likely was a toy.
Information led the police to the arrest. During the search, officers recovered a jacket that appears to be the one worn during the robbery.
The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of first-degree robbery.
