BREMERTON — Kitsap County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a 21-year-old man in connection with the violent death of his grandfather.
KOMO-TV reported that deputies were called to the scene just before 2 a.m. Tuesday after dispatchers received a call from a man identified as William Bradley Jackson III, who said he had been drinking heavily and killed his grandfather.
Sheriff spokesman Scott Wilson says they found a man identified as 92-year-old Hurene “Hap” Bradley Jackson inside a bedroom of the home. A cause of death was not immediately determined, but the Kitsap Sun reported that officials observed injuries consistent with knife wounds.
William Jackson surrendered to officers, was booked into the Kitsap County jail and is being held on $2 million bail.
The motive for the killing is unknown.
