EPHRATA — The Grant County sheriff’s office says officers arrested a man Monday night in the death of a Yakima woman whose body was found by a hunter.
The sheriff’s office said 35-year-old Jose Abilion Aguilar Aguilar of Mattawa is jailed for investigation of murder.
Investigators said he was in a relationship with Carmelita Lopez Santos and was upset when she broke it off. Her body was found Oct. 16 at a fish and wildlife access area near the Columbia River southwest of Mattawa.
