EVERETT — Police have picked up a man wanted in connection with a robbery that led to a homicide in Everett.
Police on Friday arrested Kevin Price Odneal, 46, of Everett. A confidential tipster told them that Odneal was hiding on a property in unincorporated Snohomish, Everett police Sgt. Robert Goetz said.
Last month, Odneal had been living at a home along 75th Street SE in south Everett where a homicide took place.
Detectives believe Michael A. Carter, the man who died, lured a friend to the garage intent on robbery. They think Odneal also was in on the plan.
Carter, 30, of Mount Vernon, was found fatally shot in the garage when police arrived on the scene.
Odneal was booked into Snohomish County Jail on Friday afternoon for investigation of first-degree robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm.
His hiding spot was in the 2400 block of Newberg Road. The property owner was unaware of Odneal’s presence, Goetz said.
