A Lynnwood area man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of making several methamphetamine sales to an undercover narcotics detective.
Detectives received information that the 41-year-old man was accepting stolen property in exchange for methamphetamine.
During the investigation involving Lynnwood burglary detectives and the South Snohomish County Narcotics Task Force, the suspect made several sales of methamphetamine to an undercover detective, said Shannon Sessions, a Lynnwood Police spokeswoman.
When the suspect was arrested he was found to be armed with a handgun that was later determined to be stolen, she said.
A search warrant on his home netted police a large amount of suspected stolen property as well as more drugs and money.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the suspected stolen property. The man was booked into the Snohomish County Jail for investigation of multiple offenses involving drugs, weapons and stolen property.
