GOLD BAR — A man died in a suspected homicide Thursday morning near Gold Bar, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Around 10:20 a.m., sheriff’s deputies were called to reports of a death in the 47900 block of U.S. 2.
Detectives remained on scene Thursday afternoon, sheriff’s spokesperson Courtney O’Keefe said. The man’s body was reportedly discovered near a trail that parallels U.S. 2.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the man’s cause and manner of death.
