SEATTLE — Seattle homicide detectives are investigating after a man died after being shot during a large disturbance in the Capitol Hill neighborhood early Sunday.
Police said the man died of his injuries after being taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Officers responded to a large disturbance just after 2 a.m. Sunday and found the man in a parking lot near Pine Street and Melrose Avenue.
Officers found several separate groups of shell casing spread over more than a block, indicating that several people had fired weapons.
It’s the second fatal shooting in Seattle since Thursday night when another man was shot while walking his dog in the Central District neighborhood.
