MONROE — A man died after his vehicle left the roadway and crashed Sunday afternoon east of Monroe.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office. No other vehicles were involved in the collision on the 26300 block of Florence Acres Road. A passerby reported the wreck around 1:15 p.m.
The sheriff’s office sent collision investigators to the scene. The roadway was expected to stay closed for hours.
