SNOHOMISH — A Snohomish man involved in a four-car crash on U.S. 2 earlier in October has died.
Cody E. Terpko, 34, was going westbound in a Nissan Xterra when he crossed the center line Oct. 9. He side-swiped another car before crashing head-on into a Jeep Grand Cherokee, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Then, a Volkswagen Golf collided with both the Nissan and Jeep near the Three Lakes Road overpass. All three vehicles were totaled.
The two other drivers had serious but not life-threatening injuries.
Terpko was taken to a hospital in critical condition. He died eight days later.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office classified his death as an accident.
