BEAVER — Authorities say one man is dead after a mobile home fire in Beaver, north of Forks on the Olympic Peninsula.
The Peninsula Daily News reported that Ron Cameron, chief criminal deputy with the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, identified the victim as Terry Neal. He said Neal’s wife, Alice Neal, escaped by jumping out a window.
She was reported to be in stable condition at Forks Community Hospital.
Cameron said the fire began about 2 a.m. Saturday and appeared to be accidental.
