ENUMCLAW – One person was killed Tuesday in a collision involving a Metro bus and two passenger vehicles near this southeast King County town.
A Toyota 4Runner was eastbound on Highway 164 in front of the bus at 4:30 p.m. and slowed to turn left into a business, the Washington State Patrol reported.
The bus, driven by Sandie A. Olosky, 35, of Issaquah, swerved to the left, struck the left rear of the 4Runner and continued into the westbound lane, where it collided head-on with a Toyota pickup, the State Patrol said.
The pickup driver, Michael A. Dahlquist, 21, of Enumclaw, was killed instantly. His passenger, Aaron M. Stingle, 21, of Enumclaw, suffered minor injuries.
Olosky and three passengers on the bus were not hurt.
