Man found dead in car in Everett was from Issaquah

EVERETT — A man found dead in Everett on Tuesday has been identified as Joseph Douret, 84, of Issaquah.

Douret, who had Alzheimer’s, went missing from his home on Dec. 21, according to an Issaquah Police Department news release.

Officials believe the man died from natural causes. Everett police and the Snohomish County Medical Examiner’s Office also are investigating.

Douret’s body was found about 12:50 p.m. Tuesday in a vehicle parked in the 800 block of E. Marine View Drive. Everett police previously said there were no signs of foul play.
