OLYMPIA — A Washington man who behaved bizarrely during his July arrest has been sentenced to more than two years in prison.
The Olympian reported that Adam Lamar Fowler, 25, pleaded guilty Monday to assault and cocaine possession.
Court documents say Olympia officers were responding to a report of a man breaking a business’ window and trying to climb a light pole. They say Fowler was holding a pig-shaped lawn ornament when police arrived and was aggressive during his arrest.
The records say Fowler had to be placed in a restraint chair with a “spit sack” over his head after mooning and spitting at an officer.
Prosecutors say an officer found a plastic baggie of cocaine after removing Fowler’s right shoe and sock.
