GRANITE FALLS — A motorcyclist was left with life-threatening injuries after a collision with a car Monday afternoon near Lake Bosworth, according to the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives with the Collision Investigation Unit were on the scene in the 18500 block of Newberg Road, south of Granite Falls.
The driver of the motorcycle, a 21-year-old Snohomish man, was transported to Providence Regional Medical Center Everett.
Speeding may have contributed to the crash, said sheriff’s office spokeswoman Courtney O’Keefe.
The road was partially closed.
