EVERETT — A man was hurt in a house fire that reportedly had explosions early Thursday morning east of Everett.
The home in the 12400 block of 51st Avenue SE was reported on fire at 12:54 a.m. South County Fire crews found the home engulfed in flames. Both residents escaped.
The injured man was taken to a hospital. He was expected to survive, according to South County Fire.
The Snohomish County Fire Marshal’s Office was investigating the cause.
Red Cross was helping the residents.
Over 35 firefighters responded, including from the Everett Fire Department and Snohomish Regional Fire and Rescue.
