MARYSVILLE — Marysville police are asking for the public’s help after a home-invasion robbery early Thursday morning.
Police were called around 1:30 a.m. to a house in the 9300 block of 58 Drive NE, off Sunnyside Boulevard.
A Marysville man, 45, woke to find three strange men in masks in his bedroom. The men had at least one handgun, Marysville police Lt. Darin Rasmussen said.
They took the victim into the hallway and forced him to lie down while they grilled him with questions, Rasmussen said.
It appears that the men were looking for someone else, Rasmussen said. The house’s previous tenants had left about a month ago.
“It is not a random act, we don’t believe,” he said.
When the men realized the victim wasn’t who they were looking for, they tied him up, kicked him in the head and took his computer and wallet, Rasmussen said. After they left, the victim ran next door to call 911.
Anyone with information regarding the case is urged to call detective Cori Shackleton at 360-363-8326.
